Though apple is making Objective-C disappear more and more in favor of Swift, some (older) projects still rely on it.

While Swift is supposed to take over Objective-C entirely (and we think it will), Objective-C still has some advantages that we like to use. To incorporate a C-Library into a Swift project can be quite adventurous - with Objective-C it’s a nobrainer. Bottom line: We use it when it makes sense.
